Description

Aluminum sulfate hydrate is also referred to as dialuminum trisulfate hydrate. It is a white crystalline hygroscopic solid. Aluminum sulfate hydrate is soluble in water and is mainly used as a coagulating agent in the purification of drinking water. It is a moderately water and acid soluble aluminum source for uses compatible with sulfates.
